When we arrived, the windy conditions at St Ives, Cornwall made photography tricky. I had to be wary of the sand particles being blown into my camera while changing lenses. At the same time, the strong winds of up to 55 miles per hour made standing and even hand-holding the camera a definite challenge. The surfers that we encountered on the beach had a fun time on the other hand, enjoying the strong waves brought about by the extremely blustery conditions.
