Laundry Day

Laundry Day
While waiting for the wedding procession to begin at Ceromo Lawang, we spotted this villager putting out her laundry to dry. When we approached her to take pictures, she posed obligingly for us. I liked the colours and lighting that has been brought out due to the contrast with a subdued background.

  1. I like the framing of this one where you managed to place her in such a nice opening. Her light coloured clothes blend with the rest of the clothing hung and is as if it was on the line! The action captured also tells alot and that matches the great title! I like it!

  2. Thanks guys 🙂 Using two different SLR bodies definitely helped here as I barely had the time to change lenses. Many of us were using continuous mode shooting on this scene. I was lucky to catch the shot at the right moment despite the lower frame rate of the 300D.
