Another candid I caught while walking the Marina Bay area during the Canon PhotoMarathon we took part in last weekend… Post-processed to bring out the contrast, lines and patterns of the floor tiles. I am pretty happy with the candid moment I managed to catch ignoring the themes that were announced during that day 😛
Another picture from my recent trip to London… The girl in the bright pink anorak caught my eye and I just had to take this picture quickly before the moment passed. The GX7, equipped with a wide-angle prime, provided the right “stealth capability” for me to snap this shot street-photography-style as I walked by, without putting my eye to the viewfinder or rear LCD.
We spent a day at Stonehenge and Bath over the weekend… I knew not to expect much in terms of photography at Stonehenge since we wouldn’t have arrived at Stonehenge till late morning (by which the sun would have been too high to provide the dramatic light I prefer for landscape photos). Nevertheless, the skies put up an interesting cloud pattern over the ancient stone circle just for a short moment. All I needed then was to take the picture and then post-process it in Lightroom for that extra oomph that I was missing out on due to the flatter lighting of the day.
