Fleeting moments frozen in time
I was not expecting to take pictures of surfers when we travelled to St Ives, Cornwall, UK in March earlier this year. The extremely blustery weather day did mean that these surfers were having a lovely day. I was glad that I had with me a lens of reasonable focal length to catch some of the action 🙂
One of the things I have learnt about taking pictures at a parade is not to concentrate too much on the parade but instead, to put my focus on the audience at the parade. There are lots of interesting candid moments to catch such as this one that I managed to get 🙂 Taken on our family holiday to Hong Kong in November 2016.
Children have short attention spans (I should know as a parent myself :P). However, it is also not too difficult to get their attention especially if you are performing something that is fast-paced and full of physical action like what this street juggler was doing. Captured on an earlier trip this year to Fremantle in Western Australia.
