想着吃回头草

想着吃回头草
This picture was taken near the Valley of Rocks on the north Devon coast. The title in Chinese means literally “Thinking of eating trodden grass” which is a play on the Chinese idiom “好马不吃回头草”. The idiom literally means “A good horse does not look back to eat grass” which can be translated to mean that a smart person does not dwell on past actions.

三人行必有我师

三人行必有我师
From Rhosilli Bay on the Gower Peninsula… I am not sure if the composition works for you, but to me, it was an extreme exercise of simplification! 😛 The Chinese title literally translates as “When three people walk together, there is bound to be someone who can teach me” or simply put, “There is always someone I can learn from”.

Golden Saxaphonist of Southbank
This was taken during Dad’s visit to London a month ago… The recent cold spell in the UK meant more time spent indoors. As the weather starts to warm up, I hope to be able to go out to take some new pictures soon!
