This was taken during Dad’s visit to London a month ago… The recent cold spell in the UK meant more time spent indoors. As the weather starts to warm up, I hope to be able to go out to take some new pictures soon!

Looming Larger Than Life
From our recent visit to Southbank… One of the advantages of winter: the sun sets so early that there are still a lot of activities going on, often in low and dramatic light. We were attracted by the long shadows cast by passers-by. I have flipped the picture 180 degrees for a much more dramatic focus on the shadows.
Looking Into Their Futures
Our first New Year’s Day abroad in the UK… In less than 6 months, we’ll be back in Singapore. As much as we are home-sick, we will sure miss the interesting lifestyle we have enjoyed in the past half a year. Happy 2012 everyone!
