Chinese New Year arrives in two days. For Chinese families, the reunion dinner is the most important meal of the year, where family members will go to great lengths (including travelling great distances) to get together to enjoy this meal. I guess these two orang utans had theirs early at the Zoo when I visited last weekend 😉
Similar setting to this shot. The shadow is actually from another kite that was trapped at the same spot, but I thought the impression of a small kite being overshadowed by its large apparent shadow made an interest contrast in subjects.
