Taken during our lunch stop-over en route from Stanley to Launceston in the picturesque town of Sheffield in Tasmania. Burning of vegetation in the nearby farms created a smoky background, a perfect complement and contrast to the tree in the foreground.

Going for a cool, pleasant morning walk in Regent’s Park is one of the perks of attending conferences at the Royal College of Physicians in London. I arrived an hour before my meeting started during my visit in November last year and spent some time enjoying the cool weather as well as taking photos. This one was taken with the camera almost touching the grass that was covered with fallen leaves.
