Summer should soon be in full swing in the UK. With the long weekend holiday ongoing now for the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, I can imagine the long line of visitors to the beaches and countryside. The above was taken at a quieter time during our visit to Rhosilli Bay on the Gower Peninsula in February this year. Similar to my earlier post, I have aimed for a wide-picture view with the composition (despite using a fairly long focal length), making the figures of the surfers tiny to reflect the scale of the scene in front of me then.

After a year in London, we are having are hard time adjusting to the hot and humid weather of Singapore! 😛 Perhaps some pictures of ice and snow might cool us down a little mentally… The above was taken at the Gullfoss waterfall (otherwise known as the Golden waterfall) in Iceland during our visit earlier in the year. Together with Þingvellir and the geysers of Haukadalur, Gullfoss forms the Golden Circle, a popular day tour for tourists in Iceland.
