With the haze and all of late in Singapore, there hasn’t been much chances for me to go out and take some nice pictures. More updates should come after my honeymoon in December 🙂

In the meantime, here’s another image of Ceromo Lawang that I like very much from my Bromo trip.

I am hoping to post something new here soon as I get settled in at my new premises 🙂

The above was taken at Savana in the Tenggera Caldera area on our visit to Bromo. Dad has an almost similar version here although his was taken at a slightly earlier time and at a different focal length (and hence the different “telephoto compression” effect). The difference in colour temperature is also markedly obvious due to the different processing characteristics we have utilised for each of our images.

Rounding off the series on the evening skies at Ceromo Lawang, this is the (almost) ultra-wide version of the unusual cloud patterns that I posted here, here and here. I like the way the wide-angle has distorted the horizon, turning it into a curve instead of the usual straight, level horizon.
