Nature
Scorching hot weather in Singapore made a visit to the newly-opened Bird Paradise very uncomfortable over the Good Friday weekend! I was lucky to find a spot later in the afternoon where the flamingoes contrasted nicely with nice dark waters and spent some moments getting the right shot.
Another picture from my visit to Tulipmania at Gardens by the Bay over the weekend… I love the vibrant colours and the way the light happened to illuminate the insides of the foreground tulip, giving it a shimmering glow.
Tulipmania is back at Gardens by the Bay! Isolating details in a sea of colourful blooms is never easy. For this photo, I concentrated on getting the details of the stamen and anthers contrasting against the warm hues of the tulip petals. Love the brilliant colours I managed to capture.
