A Walk In The Valley of Rocks
My brother-in-law and his girlfriend came visiting two weeks ago and that meant for us another excuse to go travelling 😛 . We managed to squeeze in quite a number of places over two weekends in between my night shifts, so stay tuned for more new pictures! The above was taken at the Valley of Rocks along the north coast of Devon. When we arrived, a lady was walking her dog towards the coast in the distance. Her silhouette gave a sense of scale to the scene I captured.

Daffodils Over The Ha-Ha
Another picture from our visit to the lovely Bodnant Garden in North Wales… Apart from the magnolias, daffodils were also in full bloom at the Gardens. I was not sure why the Garden map described this area as the “Ha-Ha” until I chanced upon this description in Wikipedia.

Spring Magnolia

Spring Magnolia
We had an unusually mild and warm start to Spring in late March with summer-like temperatures. The weather has returned to typical dull and gloomy though, with almost freezing temperatures (and snow in parts of the UK) last week. We visited beautiful Bodnant Garden in North Wales during the warm spell to view the magnolias and daffodils in magnificent bloom.
