Taken on vacation trips
CY’s first impression of this picture: Photoshop work. Actually, the patterns you see are the reflection of Sackler Corssing at Kew Gardens. I was lucky when one of the water birds in the pond made its way into the frame of the picture I was trying to compose.
In fact, autumn’s been officially here for a month although the trees have only started to change colours. I hoped to catch some of these colours on a visit to Kew Gardens this weekend. From what I saw, the colours were not yet in full swing. There was however, still enough red around for me to take some shots of 🙂
This was taken earlier this year in Bristol during summer. Sixty one gorilla sculptures had appeared all over the streets and parks of Bristol in celebration of the Bristol Zoo’s 175th anniversary. These were auctioned off at the end of the campaign for charity. Signs were placed around the sculptures asking the public not to climb onto them. These did not prevent these kids from having a monkey of a time on them.
