Morning Colours Of Derwent Water

Morning Colours Of Derwent Water
The highlight of our journey to the Lake District (in Cumbria, UK) last autumn was at Buttermere… When we visited Lake District again this time six months after, Derwent Water became the highlight with its still waters and brilliant reflections. We were lucky to get good weather during our visit. This was caught early in the morning after sunrise (at this spot)… a feast for our photographic appetites before we headed back to our B&B for our actual breakfast 🙂

From Pomonal To Ararat

From Pomonal To Ararat
I am very lucky to have travelled twice within a month to Australia down under as well as to UK/Scotland up north. As such, the pictures you will be seeing here will be alternating between scenes I captured during both trips. The above was taken in Australia after our stay at Halls Gap at the Grampians National Park. We were travelling to Ararat via Pomonal when we came across this nicely lit scene over a farm by the roadside. Finding a clearing next to the road, we made a quick stop to catch some pictures.
