Having A Splashing Good Time

Having A Splashing Good Time
If there’s anything I’ve learnt about photography during theme park parades on at least two of my previous holidays, concentrating on the audience action can sometimes be more rewarding than concentrating on the parade itself. The above shot was taken during the Mickey’s Waterworks Parade on my visit to Hong Kong Disneyland recently. We were in the “wet-zone” of the parade itself. While CY and me hid under an umbrella to prevent getting splashed, I managed to sneak in a shot of the people seated opposite me having an equally splashing good time 😛

When You Wish Upon A Star

When You Wish Upon A Star
I had the chance to visit Hong Kong again (for the umpteen time) last week as a business-cum-leisure trip. On our leisure day, CY was insistent that we stay all the way till the evening for the spectacular fireworks over the Sleeping Beauty Castle in HK’s Disneyland. Although I didn’t bring my usual full gear for me, the S5 IS came in handy for this shot which was taken handheld in full manual mode. No regrets for having to brave the rain in the day, and to stay all the way till the evening at Disney’s 🙂

Choosing The Right Fish @ Tekka

Choosing The Right Fish @ Tekka
Another candid image from the previous visit to Tekka… Even though the setting may seem random and haphazard, I like the arrangement of the subjects in the scene which seemed to have fallen into a vague pattern of intersecting diagonal lines in the overall composition (not sure whether if you catch what I mean, but I will be willing to illustrate if you ask :P)
