Spikes Of The Durian

Spikes Of The Durian
The Esplanade – Theatres On The Bay, also known affectionately by Singaporeans as “The Durian”, has a special meaning in the hearts of Singaporean photographers. This is an almost abstract, closer look at the “spike”-details that I caught.

Reflecting Within The Christchurch Town Hall

Reflecting Within The Christchurch Town Hall
During our last couple of days at Christchurch, New Zealand, we spent out time relaxing and took a cruise on the Avon River. Stopping at the Town Hall for a toilet-break, I caught the nice reflections within the building complex. It was Citizenship Day apparently, with a lot of immigrants getting their citizenship certificates presented to them. This accounted for a fair amount of human traffic within this hallway. I thought the particular group that passed through made a colourful addition to the scene.

Balloons for Sale

Balloons for Sale
This colourful balloon peddler caught my eye amongst the cacophony of the traffic in Ho Chi Minh City. Between watching the traffic and strolling along the street, I managed to catch the peddler taking a break and sitting down by the roadside. The lighting then wasn’t exactly fantastic — I thought the colours of the balloons made up for that, though, especially after post-processing with selective desaturation.
