I was walking down an escalator that was turned off for servicing at The Heart at Marina One when I caught sight of this view of someone pre-occupied on her laptop. Had the escalator been moving, I would not have been able to slow myself down to take the shot. As the escalator was turned off, this gave me just the right time I needed to compose the shot. I like the interplay between the lines and silhouette.

From a morning session on annual leave from work today… I have been intending to pop down to The Heart at the Marina One complex for a while to take pictures of the interesting architectural patterns there. In our current times with COVID-19 where travelling has been extremely restricted, I count myself lucky to still have an opportunity to go out for some quiet photography
