A View Of Picton Harbour

A View Of Picton Harbour
We crossed from the southern tip of the North Island to the northern tip of the South Island via a three-hour ferry ride across the Cook Strait on our recent trip to New Zealand. On our last day before returning to the North Island, we made a trip on the Snout Track which took us to a vantage point overlooking Picton Harbour. The ferry services had just begun and made nice patterns on the water surface — just ideal conditions for an interesting picture to be taken! 🙂

A Golden Moment At Tahunanui Beach

A Golden Moment At Tahunanui Beach
On our recent trip to New Zealand, we took a 3-hour ferry ride between Wellington (on the North Island) and Picton (on the South). Our destination for the end of the day was Nelson, the oldest settled city on the South Island. A wonderful sunset greeted us when we arrived. We made a stop a Tahunanui Beach for a short 15-minute photo-shoot as the sun gradually disappeared down the horizon. A passerby proudly proclaimed that she gets to see the same magnificent sunset every evening. We just smiled, and continued taking pictures 😛
