A Kiasu Photographer

First and foremost, the attraction was from the beautiful lighting of the sky at the Lower Seletar Reservoir on 19 02 2023. I spotted a photographer setting up his two cameras ready for the beautiful image of the landscape. I deliberately utilising the trees to frame the subject for my image from the vantage angle. The bicycle parked at the right location apparently enhanced the image. Most importantly, to capture the decisive moment is utterly essential for the visual impact of the image.

A Perfect Perch

From a distance, I spotted the little bird nicely perching on the dried branch of a tree. Fortunately, I had my long tele-lens ready for the shooting. Utilising the dried branches to compose the image was my concept of capturing the image. I was in time to capture the decisive moment within the splits of a second. Though the image is more monochromatic, the simple in composition is sufficient to achieve a strong visual impact. An image that I captured at the Bishan Park on 21 02 2023.

All Set For The Prey

I spotted the tidy spider on the net ready to pounce on the prey. It was hardly 7:00 am yet. I decided to capture a close up image of the spider with the available light from the lamp, From my vantage angle, the spider was well lit by the existing light. I love the perfect contrast of setting for an image of nature study. The image was capture at the Upper Peirce Reservoir on 22 02 2023.
