The richness of raining clouds prior to the thunderstorm was rather amazing on 16 02 2022 at the Upper Peirce Reservoir. I decided to shoot in monochrome format to achieve maximum impact of tonal range. The grainy appearance of the image is intentional in order to enhance the quality of texture.
The gorgeous sky prior to sunrise is amazing. On 17 06 2021 at the Lower Seletar Reservoir, I was stunned to witness the spectacular scene. The colour and pattern of the cloud was breath-taking. Fortunately to have a bird soaring into the sky to enhance the image.
The deciding factor of aesthetic value of an image depends on the perception and perspective when it is capture. The colour, shape and design enhance the value further to the image. Simplicity in composition is also utterly important in achieving the visual impact. On 07 03 2023 at the Bishan Park, all these elements formed the core value of the image.
