Nicely Matched Pattern

Fully utilising the colour and pattern is always in my mind when I am capturing a photographic image. This image that I captured at the beach of the Whitley Bay, Tynemouth, UK on 15 09 2019 demonstrated my approach clearly.

My first glance of the surface of the metal appears busy for an image. Further study of the object looked attractive due to the features of the texture and colour of the dried paint. I was not sure whether the pattern was created in purpose by an artist. But the setting was sufficiently strong for an eye-catching image. An image that I captured during my trip to Tai O, Hong Kong, on 14 01 2019.

To me, a visual impact created by colour and pattern of a scene is always eye-catching. The brilliant warm lighting of a rising sun further enhanced this image. This was my perception when I was at the Whitley Bay, Tynemouth, UK, on 13 09 2019.
