I captured this image in the centre of the town of Yogyakarta, Indonesia in 2015. What attracted me were the colourful setting of the dresses and the simplicity of the environment. The good contrast of the morning light plays an important part for the whole image. To me, is another image of photo travel with a touch of natural local favour.
I captured another nature image at the Lower Seletar Reservoir on 13 Dec 2020. This time is an Ibis actively having an early catch. Obviously, I like the fully spread-wings. The soft morning light touched the bird and gave a very pleasing result. The reflections in the water further enhanced and gave a greater impact to the image. For me is another satisfaction of “early bird catches the Worm”.
At the historic site of ancient Whampoa Anchorage, Guangzhou, China, I came across two fishermen working on the boat after returning from their catch.
What I like is the tranquil environment with nice pleasing framing of the green.
What surprised me that the taxi driver was not aware of the location of this historical site.
Perhaps, most people would not expect finding a tranquil environment in the busy city of Guangzhou.
