Montage of different images to create a new image was my favourite creation more than fifty years ago. Those days I worked on 35mm transparency. In the present digital era, two suitable images could be overlaid to create a montage easily with the click of a mouse. Most importantly, capturing the suitable original images are the prerequisite of such creation. The image shown here is an example of applying two digital images to create a montage.
Share with you the latest capture this morning (03 11 2021) at the Lower Seletar Reservoir. Attracted by the vibrant colour of the reflection of dragon boats from the water, I decided to capture the close view of the reflections. It is just a coincidence that part of the reflection appeared like a shape of dragon. One good thing of a reflection image is the outcome of final image is beyond your expectation. You need to be an impressionist to enjoy such an image.
A setting of multiple exposures on a single frame of a camera, created the illusion of a lotus flower. I love the colour and the effect of the end result. Visualization and the idea of creation are the prerequisite before the image is captured.
