On 31 07 2022 at the Lower Seletar Reservoir, I was pleased to come across a breath taking landscape with vibrant colour. The gorgeous colour of blue matched well with the greenery. From my vantage angle, I fully utilised the framing to achieve maximum depth for the image.
Besides the interesting pattern of clouds and its reflections, my perception was also focus on the bright spot of the landscape. An aesthetic mood that fulfilled the image that in my mind.
On 30 05 2023 at the Royal Botanical Gardens, Melbourne, Australia, I spotted the water birds coming into the frame of my camera. I was quite pleased with the position of birds.
Furthermore, the reflections of the branches in the water were nicely formed. Post-processed with photoshop to brighten the colour of one of the bird in order to break the monotoned effect of the image. The end result of the image certainly increased the visual impact .
Most importantly, to capture the decisive moment is utterly essential for the eye-catching image.
The team fogging to control dengue fever started their round early in 2020. Nowadays, they seems to change the schedule to around 7:00 am. “The Vibrant Ripples” posted on August 4, 2023, showed their recent round. This particular image captured at early dawn was equally striking. Beside the colour and atmosphere of the scene, I am in particular like the bird coming into the frame to enhanced the impact further.
