Another image captured from the window of my apartment on 03 09 2022. I have been watching the lines formed by the curve of the drain. Finally, I was attracted by the children’s activities at the location. I wonder is it safer to swim in the drain than in the pool which is within a stone’s throw in the area.
After receiving an award in Quanzhou, Fujian, China, on 24 11 2019, gave me an opportunity of visiting a traditional image over there. The colourful attires of the locals certainly attracted me to capture an image. The activity of the seniors perhaps is part of the local culture that is typical in enjoying their leisure.
My perception of this image was on the arrangement of the stored items in a small place. The ladder by the side of the room was interesting to me to enhanced the composition. I captured the image while I was touring the old town of Shantou, China on 14 10 2016.
