I particular like to capture the distinctive dried tree in silhouette at the Upper Peirce Reservoir. On 08 10 2021, I managed to have another eye-catching image of the tree with the early birds soaring high into the area. The ever-changing colour of the water area provided me with different mood of the environment. At present, my loving tree in silhouette has fallen down. It is not available any more as a main subject for my image. (25 05 2022)
My vantage lower angle of the image of the dried tree in silhouette is as attractive as the one that captured from a distance. At the Upper Peirce Reservoir on 02 08 2021, I captured an image at the Reservoir with the spur of light. It is always a challenge for me to shoot against the light for an image with great visual impact.
The unusual reflection pattern in the calm water created by the maintenance boat along the Sungei Punggol was rather unexpected. I am quite pleased with the visual impact of the image. The water, the greenery with the estate and the bridges of public transport shows that our environment is very conducive for a living with good standard.
