The Jewel, Singapore Changi Airport is one of my favourite location in capturing colourful image. From a vantage angle, my perception of pattern created by the flow of water on the panel combining with the vibrant colour light, are subjects for capturing another image with strong visual impact. The ever changing pattern of the flow of water is an interesting feature to admire.
On 09 01 2022 at the Jurong Bird Park, I was attracted by this colourful bird (yet to find out the actual name of the bird). Under the shady area, the lighting condition was rather dim. Thanks for the digital format, I decided to capture the image and post-process with the Lightroom. The end result is rather striking. This achievement was not possible when I was using the analogue format.
I captured the image during my safari trip to East Africa on 14 12 2019. Fortunately, Covid-19 was not declared pandemic yet. I was still able to enjoy my safari trip. Obviously, I was attracted by the action of the vulture departing from the dried branch. Fortunately, to have the good lighting with the backdrop of saturated blue sky. To capture the movement in a split of second is essential for this nature photograph.
