Perching On A Spiky Branch

I captured this image during my safari trip in East Africa in 2019. I don’t know why this bird perched on a spiky branch. I don’t know the nomenclature of this bird. I would be greatly appreciated if you are aware and share with me. My perception to capture the image is based on the posture of bird and the brilliant lighting on the subject. I think this is the usual features that I search for before I capturing the image.

Brilliant Sun Rise

In the month of November, I hardly encountered a brilliant sunrise. But on the 06 November, I was fortunate to witness another vibrant sunrise at the Lower Seletar Reservoir. First and foremost, anticipating the position of sunrise above the orizone is the prerequisite of capturing the image. The next thing is to know the timing of sunrise. For this image, I have chosen the icon of the Reservoir for the identification of the location. I love the highlight on the rooftop and the lovely reflection of the icon. The early morning mist certainly added the perfect atmosphere for the image. I think your eyesight is as sharp as mine in identify the tiny figure of the flying bird.
