I am always exciting to witness such a beautiful vibrant colour landscape. On 10 Aug 2021, I captured another amazing image at the Lower Seletar Reservoir. The serenity of the morning mood completed with colourful calm reflections was my perception initiated the concept in capturing the image. An ordinarily landscape turned up to be a striking image due to the perfect weather condition.
Makepung is a traditional bull race held annually in Bali. It is also a harvest celebration. The Makepung races are held every two weeks throughout the dry season, always on Sunday. There are seven different circuits that are used for the races and they’re all located in Jembrana, West Bali.
Barong dance is a traditional Balinese and Javanese dance from Bali and Java. Barong is the king of the spirits, leader of the hosts of good, and enemy of Rangda, the demon queen and mother of all spirit guarders in the mythological traditions of Bali.
This troupe is a special arrangement for the Nusantara Photo Club Annual Meeting in 2014. Instead of photographing a close view of the troupe, I captured the environment of Tanah Lot to enhance the image of the performing troupe. My perception of pleasing blue and green environment with the attractive reflection of cloud in the water area were my concept of capturing the image.
