On 07 09 2021, the reflection of catchment area at the Lower Seletar Reservoir caught my attention in capturing an image with vibrant colour and pattern. To me, such a resulting image has an aesthetic value with greater visual impact. I just simply love the colour and pattern of the final image. To me, you just need to have a good perception of colour, pattern, texture and composition in capturing the image.
My perception of colour and pattern is always one of the principles of capturing an eye-catching image. The reflection of heron in silhouette is my concept of adding an interesting feature to the image. Using a different perspective to view in capturing an image is a different approach in my passion of photography.
I love to capture the ripples on the water. It gives me a pleasing rhythm for the whole image. The touch of the lovely colour of the clouds reflection created by the rising sun is an additional impact for the image. To include an icon of the Heritage Bridge’s reflection serves as an identity
