The strong breeze from the Cretan Sea at Agios Nikolaos, Crete, Greece, gave Aletra Maria, a committee member of the 4th GPU Photo Festival, an unusual portrait for the trip. The brilliant back lit combined with the expression of Maria are the good elements of portrait study that I liked to capture.
Embraced by the cooling breeze from the sea at the side of the lake (“Voulismeni”), a folklore-inspiringly deep body of water which is connected to the sea by a narrow inlet. The town has three faces to the sea. A stroll around the marina to see if by chance someone has arrived in a dazzling yacht is a refreshing experience.
