To recognize the pattern and colour of lotus leaves is up to you to observe and capture. The matching of different condition of leaves is interesting to compose in a captured image. Came across this interesting setting of green leaves in a small pond in Hoi An ,Vietnam in July 2018. The game of pac man is yet to start. Would you like to set it off? Besides the shapes, I was actually attracted by the lovely green.
A visit to the Cihong Former Residence, Chenghai, Shantou, China, gave me an opportunity of exploring the lotus pond of the residence. It was not a flowering season during my recent visit. But I love the different conditions of the leaves in the pond. One of my favourite images of the pond shown here is a good combination of forms and colour for an interesting image with a strong visual impact.
