Team work is not easy to synchronise especially in rowing a dragon boat. The event that I witnessed at the Lower Seletar Reservoir on 04 09 2022, showed that the team is well achieved.
I think the lighting in that morning was conducive for me to have an eye-catching image. The pattern of the waves were just perfect to enhance the visual impact of the image to a greater extent.
To capture a boat of maintenance on the way to start a morning job looked simple. But to me is a combination of moment , pattern and colour all synchronised in a split of second. To capture this decisive moment has to be exact otherwise the moment would be missed forever. To anticipate the happening at the location on the right time is another requirement in order to capture a good image. I had another experience of capturing another eye-catching image at the Sengkang Riverside Park on 21 07 2022.
To capture the pattern of the waves, first and foremost a vantage angle has to be selected. The perquisite condition for a good image is to have a fine weather with calm water surface. Last but not the least, to capture the decisive moment is the utmost important of a striking image. I was fortunate to have another spectacular moment at the Sengkang Riverside Park on 19 07 2022.
