I enjoy watching the pattern of cloud in the sky when the sky condition is favourable. On 1st May 2022 at the Lower Seletar Reservoir, I admired an amazing sky that allowed me to capture a spectacular image. To me, the cloud formation was rather unusual.
I was fascinated by the cloud formation at the Upper Peirce Reservoir on 21 09 2022. My experience of watching the sky in various weather condition, I didn’t expect a spectacular sunrise in that morning. Finally I utilised the dry tree and the plants as a foreground against the sky for an eye-catching image. The floating clouds in the upper sky enhanced the image to a greater extent.
I always search for a silhouette as a foreground of the sunrise image. From the vantage angle of my apartment,I was able to capture the image of sunrise with the buildings in silhouette as a foreground. On 28 12 2020 morning, the rising sun was much softer. Are you able to differentiate the difference between sunrise and sunset image? Years ago, a veteran in photography ever made a wrong judgement in front of a guest of honour at an opening when they were viewing my exhibit. So be cautious!
