I particular like to capture the distinctive dried tree in silhouette at the Upper Peirce Reservoir. On 08 10 2021, I managed to have another eye-catching image of the tree with the early birds soaring high into the area. The ever-changing colour of the water area provided me with different mood of the environment. At present, my loving tree in silhouette has fallen down. It is not available any more as a main subject for my image. (25 05 2022)
My vantage lower angle of the image of the dried tree in silhouette is as attractive as the one that captured from a distance. At the Upper Peirce Reservoir on 02 08 2021, I captured an image at the Reservoir with the spur of light. It is always a challenge for me to shoot against the light for an image with great visual impact.
My perception of capturing this image at the Upper Peirce Reservoir on 01 06 2022 was on the vibrant cloud pattern and its reflection. Fortunately, the angler was equally early to cast a line. In order to include him at a location against the colourful patch, I placed him almost at the centre of the frame. I think the tree trunk with the hanging leaves on the right side of the frame nicely enhanced the composition of the image. I think the serenity mood of the eye-catching image was hard to come by.
