Double Sun Rays

Once again I gazed in awe by the brilliant sunrise at the Lower Seletar Reservoir on 27 Aug 2021. From my vantage angle, I captured the rays of the rising sun and its reflection from the water. Fully utilizing rows of trees as a strong framing for the landscape image was also my concept of capturing this image. Most importantly, the silhouette of the person having a morning exercise further added interest to this image. We have just entered 2022, I would like to wish all my friends “A healthy and happy 2022!” Hope this image of double sun rays will bring you more luck and safety in this new year!

Spectacular Rising Sun

On 19 Dec 2021, I gazed in awe another spectacular sunrise at the Upper Peirce Reservoir. Though I had captured another image with the sunrise in full, I still preferred to share with you this particular one. The colour and texture of the image is one that I like best. To enjoy a spectacular rising sun depends very much on a fine weather.

Low Tide At Whitley Bay

My perception of strong S pattern and the differences in colour on the water area oriented me to capture this image at the beach of Whitley Bay, Tynemouth, UK in 2019. I was fortunate to have a higher vantage angle to capture the image. My humble self usually prefer to shoot images during the Golden hour of the day for a greater visual impact. There is no exception for this particular image.
