A Splendid Night Scene

I captured a number of night scene during my visit to Newcastle Upon Tyne, UK on 14 Sept 2019. After my international photographic salon judging at Tynemouth, UK, I conducted a series of photographic lectures around the region. One of the evenings, the session was conducted at Newcastle Upon Tyne. Though I was late for night photography, the night scenes were splendid as I could expect. I remember 2019 as another year of photographic achievement and not Covid 19. Fortunately, all the trips were made before the announcement of Covid 19 Pandemic.

A Friendly Chat

Actually, my perception of the Xiamen night scene oriented me to capture the image. Within a stone throws from the hotel that I was staying, I decided to do night scene photography. The figures by the side of the river added interest to the image. On 26 Nov 2019, I was there after I received my photographic award at Quan Zhou, China. I remember nothing was mentioned about Covid 19. We had no restrictions of social gathering at that time.

Shadow On The Golden Panels

My concept of the strong light and shadow pattern ended in capturing another image with a strong touch of pictorial quality. Waiting for the shadow of the person to come into the frame further enhanced the impact of the image. My perception of the simplicity in colour and composition obviously played an important part in capturing the image. I just love the image that I captured at the Lower Seletar Reservoir on 11 Oct 2021.
