Texture Of A Tree Trunk

I like the texture of the tree trunk. If you peruse the image, you may discover that the shape of the bark looks like a symbol of a face. I think your interpretation is as good as mine. That was my observation of the tree when I visited Kew Garden, London in 2015. Though the image is not vibrant in colour, the texture and pattern are strongly attracted me in capturing this image.

Dramatic Impact Of The Light

Shooting against the light is always challenging for me in practising photography. On 22 09 2021 at the Upper Peirce Reservoir, I had another opportunity of shooting against the light. My perception of different layers of trees creating a perfect depth for my image with the touch of morning golden light from the sun. Enhancing the visual impact, the ripples in white gave a gentle touch further. The vantage angle in capturing such an image is essential.

Multi-colours Reflections

My observation of the multicolours sky reflections oriented me to capture this mage with a strong effect of illusion. Combining the silhouette of the trees in the foreground with the colourful reflections further created an unusual visual impact. The concept of capturing the ripples within a split of a second, enhanced the image to a greater extend. The resulted final image was my perception of the happening at the Upper Peirce Reservoir on 17 Sept 2021.
