Just before I left Birmingham, UK, the lighted Cathedral in the evening appeared very gorgeous. I utilised the gigantic trees to frame the lighted Cathedral to achieve a maximum visual impact for the image. In addition, the saturated blue sky of the evening enhanced the image further. The perception from my vantage angle is a good perspective to capture the building during the evening.
The Temperate House at Kew Gardens, London, was well lit for Christmas during my visit in 2015. Colourful night scene is always a favourite subject for photography. My observation of good colour contrast oriented me to capture a landscape image from my vantage angle. Time spent at the Gardens was an enjoyable evening for me.
The water flowing continually from the source of the building with the touch of sunlight turned into golden yellow. Combined with the stray light from the sun creating a very interesting sight. All these elements, together with the spectacular design of the building generated a very amazing image from my vantage angle. This was my perception that I had before I oriented to capture an image with a greater visual impact. (The Heart. 22 August 2019)
