I was searching for a landscape image during my visit to a river near Perrine Memorial Bridge, Twin Falls, Idaho, USA on 04 October 2015, My observation along the riverside was focussed on a well-lit sky diver. The main attraction was the vibrant colour of the diver against the subdue shady river down below. Obviously, good lighting and colour contrast achieved the maximum visual impact for the image.
Strolling along the edge of water area at the Lower Seletar Reservoir on 05 July 2021, I was impressed by the boats docking side by side. Most importantly, the cloud reflection on the surface of the water further drew my attention during my observation. I was fortunate to have the ripples to enhance the image within a split of second. To freeze the decisive moment is always a challenge for my photographic passion.
I admired the vibrant colours of the water reflection during my morning session at the Lower Seletar Reservoir on 30 June 2021. Furthermore, to have the ripples on the water is adding interest in capturing this colourful image. Such an approach is my way of turning an ordinally landscape into an extra-ordinally vibrant image.
