Stretching All The Way

Tighter restrictions to curb spike in Covid-19 case were introduced on May 16. It is quite obvious that people exercise in the public park also reduced in number. On May 26 morning, I witnessed lesser people exercised at the Lower Seletar Reservoir. But I was attracted by a lady having her morning session. Viewing from my vantage low angle, I utilized the curve edge of a pool of water to compose the image. Clicking the shutter only when the right moment of the reflection came into my view point. To me, such a perspective is my approach to capture an image with greater visual impact.

A Foggy Dawn

Landscape of the Lower Seletar Reservoir in a foggy dawn is a beautiful sight not to be missed. Admiring the serenity mood of the location was a very relaxing moment for me to enjoy. To visualize the impact of such scene was the end result of my observation. I waited for the touch of golden light from the rising sun on the motor boat prior to the capture of the image. For one moment, such a peaceful scene makes me forgotten we are in the period of tighter restrictions to curb spike in Covid-19 case. (20 05 2021)

An Image Speaks More Than A Thousand Words

An interesting candid shots that I captured at the Lower Seletar Reservoir on 30 05 2021. What else is better than having an image to show the fruitful result! A minute later, I witnessed him released the fish into the water. Apparently he was contented with the catch. He was also aware of fishes are important for the control of algae in the catchment area. Perhaps, fishing is just a hobby for this angler. For me, I love the cloud reflections and the colour of the water. More importantly, freezing the action and turned into a story telling image within a split of a second. Finally the orientation of all these observations of the happening, a pleasing image from my vantage angle thus captured.
