White water hen is an early bird that searching for food at dawn. On 06 04 2023 at Bishan Park, from my vantage angle I captured the bird in action. Anticipating the bird moving into the right direction is a prerequisite of capturing a good image. The soft lighting at dawn provided adequate lighting for the image.
On 16 08 2023 at the Upper Peirce Reservoir, my perception of the image was focus on the pattern of green leaves and the spider web. The out of focus surrounding area softly enhanced the image to a great extent. I just simply like the impact of the visual image achieved in a very pleasing way for the whole image.
A simple and yet not easy to capture that t I came across at the Upper Peirce Reservoir on 06 08 2023. First and foremost, a vantage angle is important to capture the lighted condition of the web. I was fortunate to find the suitable condition of lighting. Most importantly, the lighted spider was striking to be the subject of this macro study.
