A Different Perspective Of Capturing A Dragonfly Image

I have captured hundreds of images of dragonfly at the Lower Seletar Reservoir in the last three months. This is one of the Images that I like best simply due to different perspective.Setting the focus on the dragonfly, the out of focus lighting spots in the background formed a very interesting repetitive pattern. The perching dragonfly lit by the brilliant lighting and with good colour contrast boost up the visual impact of the image. I just like the unusual result of the final image thus captured.

Within two months, this was my third time encounter of capturing image of otters at the Lower Seletar Reservoir. I was fortunate to have ample time to capture more images of the otters. This is one of the images that I like best for this session on 30 11 2020. For most otters, fish is the staple of their diet. The early morning soft lighting apparently added sparkle to the whole image. Most importantly, to freeze the moment within the split of a second is essential for this image.

Cloudy Weather

When the weather forecast mentioned cloudy, I am still interested to capture landscape image. On 20 November 2020, I captured this image at the Lower Seletar Reservoir. The cloudy sky was really amazing. I think it is one of the landscape images with strong visual impact that I have ever captured. Once again, is another example of early bird catches the worm. I am fortunate to be early at the right place on time.
