Initially I was attracted by the simplicity of the dry branch by the side of the water. Further examination discovered the plants underwater in the backdrop is also colourful. Finally noted the dragonfly is the most colourful subject in the setting. I love this image that I captured at the Lower Peirce Reservoir during one of my recent visit.
Xiamen, Fujiang,China has 264 documented species of bird, I came across this one while I was visiting Nanputuo Temple in last November. I am yet to identify this species. Nevertheless, I love the movement of the bird. Most importantly, the lighting, ripples and the reflections formed an interesting composition for the image.
The fish Quay of Tynemouth in the UK is a location where the birds will perch on for food. Visiting the area is a good opportunity of capturing the birds in action. Though the image shown here is strong in monochromatic, the movement is a great visual impact for a whole image. Besides that, I love the repetitive pattern of the whole setting.
