I do not know the significance of 1860 for the old town of Shantou, China. Simply, I saw this figure on the lanterns that were on display in the old town. Nevertheless, I like the location during twilight time. The urban renewed old town definitely is gorgeous just before the sky is darkened.
With the urban renewal of the old town of Shantou, China, rapidly in progress, the day of the dwelling of the tramp is definitely numbered. By no time, the sight of the tramp in this area should be disappeared. In the meantime, you still have to tolerate their presence when the development is still in progress.
The village of Gounan in Shantou, China celebrates the Tuandu Festival with the Dragon Boat Race on the 7th June 2019. It was a coincidence during my visit to Shantou. As shown here, the race was not really exciting during my visit. But I think was a great annual event for the villages of Guonan, Shantou, China.
