My sense of colour, pattern and texture in photography are rather strong when I observed the environments. That is how I discovered the attractions of environment even in a tiny plant. When I was capturing this image, the pedestrians pass-by peeped into my screen and commented :“never expected such a tiny plants are so beautiful”. Perhaps that is my enrichment of life that I enjoy as a photographer. (Bishan Park. 02 03 2023)
An image that I captured at Bishan Park on 02 03 2023, was a pattern of art in nature. Carefully selected an angle from the vantage point was my perception of the natural art. The nature condition of the dried stalks combining with the reflections in the water formed a perfect pattern for my eye-catching image. The end result to me is an painting of art in ink by nature.
My interpretation of the shape of the leaf that I captured could be very personal. But that was my idea in my mind to capture this colourful image when I spotted the leaf. As far as I practice photography as an art, the final image that I capture is always my idea of having an image that I perceived. I love the visual impact of the image that I captured at the Bishan Park on 02 03 2023.
