I have missed the heron at the Lower Seletar Reservoir for a while. On 22 05 2022, I spotted the heron in action with the touch of the soft lighting early in the morning. My perception was on the action of the bird besides the bokia effect of the backdrop. I think your eyesight is as sharp as mine. The decisive moment that in capturing this image was on a feather that dropping from the body of bird.
My initial perception was on the back-lit flowers with perfect forming of lines, colour and forms. Furthermore, I noted the lighted bee was approaching the flowers. That was the decisive moment that I captured in a split of a second. All these fine details were the features that oriented me in capturing the image.
On 28 04 2022 morning, I gazed with awe at the Upper Peirce Reservoir. The misty morning was already very picturesque when I arrived. The cloud formation and its colour in the sky was very attractive. The warmth colour from the rising sun was a good contrast against the cool colour of the misty scene. Such an everchanging scene was a very rare opportunity for me to capture another image with greater visual impact.
