The eye-catching appearance of the plants in the pond of the Punggol Park attracted me to capture the image. The uncluttered backdrop is a very simple base for such a pleasing setting. The perching dragonfly on one of the branch and its reflections further boosted the visual impact of the image.
Perspective and perception are individual in capturing an image. The visual impact of an image also depends on your vantage angle. On a fine morning (06 26 2021), I decided to capture an image of the Lower Seletar Reservoir from a higher vantage angle. The end result is another amazing landscape image with the touch of vibrant colour. I was fortunate to have the calm water with the spectacular cloud formation on the surface of the water. Including the icon of the Reservoir in the image served as an indication of our beautiful landscape.
The Jewel, Singapore Changi Airport is one of my favourite location in capturing colourful image. From a vantage angle, my perception of pattern created by the flow of water on the panel combining with the vibrant colour light, are subjects for capturing another image with strong visual impact. The ever changing pattern of the flow of water is an interesting feature to admire.
