Jewel at Singapore Changi Airport is a colourful location for me to capture an interesting image. The flow of water lit by the colour lights on the display certainly an attraction to me for my photography.
I love the interesting pattern formed by the water flow on the wall of the display.
Out of focus lighting could be very attractive when you make full use of bokeh effect. This technique is very effective when the surrounding environment is still dark.
On 26 June 2021 at Lower Seletar Reservoir before the sky brighten up, I decided to utilise the effect to the full extent. I am quite like the final result shown here. The end appearance of the image is a vibrant colour of light.
My perception of capturing this image is more on the pattern and colour of the reflection of the waves. Including the pattern of railing reflection in black enhanced the interest of the image to a certain extent. Capturing such image in a split of second depends very much on the vantage angle at the right place at the right time. An image that I captured on 23 June 2021 at the Lower Seletar Reservoir.
