The vibrant colour of cloud reflections in the water area of the Upper Peirce Reservoir is always eye catching for me. My perception of a good framing for the image is also one of my principals in landscape photography. I was fortunate to have calm water environment for the colourful reflections. The image clearly shows that weather condition is still utmost important in capturing an amazing landscape image.
I have been eyeing the long shadows of the trees at the Lower Seletar Reservoir for a while. Not until 16 Aug 2021, finally I managed to capture an image of good landscape setting. Most importantly, the dog owner with his dog came into my frame allowing me to complete a story telling image. To me, the good effect of the light and shadow is just picturesque for a landscape image.
For photography, I love to capture image during the golden hours of the day. I just love to be embraced by the serenity of the landscape. The touch of the colourful light at dawn provided me with an opportunity of capturing a landscape image that with great visual impact. From my favourite vantage angle at the Lower Seletar Reservoir, I fulfilled my wish of having another amazing landscape image on 20 Nov 2020.
